Chris Varias of Cincinnati.com recently reviewed David Cook's show at the Madison Theater and, although he had a few complaints, such as the fact he thinks the band frames David's voice in the "safest way possible," he points out the singer's undeniable success. More importantly, Varias notes the staying power of Cook over previous AI winners:
